Privacy Policy
Effective: March 1, 2026
NeuroMotive Health, LLC ("NeuroMotive," "we," "us," or "our") operates the neuromotive.health website and the NeuroMotive platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our services.
By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). Facility staff accounts may also include your role and affiliated organization.
Content you provide. Families upload photographs, audio recordings, and other personal media ("Content") to create reminiscence sessions for their loved ones. This Content belongs to you. We store it solely to provide the service.
Session data. Care staff may record session notes, mood ratings, and engagement observations within the platform. This information is tied to the resident profile and accessible to authorized staff and family members.
Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, and device and browser information. We use this data to improve the service.
Cookies. We use essential cookies to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To deliver personalized reminiscence sessions
- To enable collaboration between families and care staff
- To generate rendered session videos
- To communicate with you about your account or our services
- To improve platform performance and user experience
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your Content — photographs, audio recordings, or session notes — for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your data. We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or Content to third parties for marketing purposes.
Service providers. We share data with vendors who help us operate the platform — such as cloud storage, video processing, and database providers — under confidentiality agreements. These vendors may not use your data for their own purposes.
Within your organization. Authorized facility staff can access resident profiles and session records for residents in their community. Family members can access only the resident profiles they have been granted permission to access.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of NeuroMotive, our users, or the public.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information and Content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Rendered session videos stored in backups may persist for up to 90 days after deletion.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously and continuously review our practices. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@neuromotive.health.
6. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you specific rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Know. You may request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it.
- Right to Delete. You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale. We do not sell personal information. No opt-out is required, but you have this right and we honor it.
